The Challenge

A Toronto-based university required a complete preventative maintenance program to support multiple high purity water systems across two campuses. The university’s main concern was finding a single organization that was both highly knowledgeable and also able to support a wide range of pure water systems including: point of use lab water systems, large central RO systems, service deionization, and more.

The selected organization would require significant experience on a wide range of pure water systems in order to meet tight specifications for the varying laboratory applications. In addition, the selected pure water partner had to provide quick turnaround times for service and technical support for the university’s end users.

Our Solution

The team at High Purity designed a custom-tailored preventative maintenance program that provided regular service visits (quarterly and semi-annually, annual) to meet the system requirements for a total of nine pure water systems across two Toronto-based campuses.

High Purity’s service program included full scope preventative maintenance support on all systems including: replacement of all consumables, system disinfections, calibrations and detailed field service reports. This allowed for a fully “hands-off” approach from the university’s end users.

The university selected High Purity Water Services as the most suitable organization to support their critical high purity water systems for two key reasons: a) HPWS’s extensive knowledge on all pure water system designs and b) HPWS’s exceptional service capabilities with 24/7 emergency support.
